The monument to General Vara de Rey is said to be one of the most popular monuments in Ibiza. It is usually visited. This attraction is located in the main street in this tourist destination in Spain that is Paseo Vara de Rey since it was named after the famous general.

The Cathedral of Santa Maria de Ibiza

This incredible Cathedral in Dalt Vila, the old town of Ibiza was built in 1235 and it has a Gothic style in certain parts such as the bell tower and some chapels and it also has a Baroque style in the rest of the building. You can rent a car in Ibiza to go to this tourist attraction.

This Cathedral houses the Diocesan Museum, but at present it is closed since it is under restoration. In the Cathedral of Santa Maria de Ibiza you can appreciate an important monstrance that is made of silver and gold dating from 1399.

Ibiza is an excellent tourist destination in Spain that has a monument that is exceptional, the Homenaje a los Corsarios, which is a monument that honors pirates. It is definitively one must see in Ibiza.

The Monumento a los Corsarios is on Ibiza’s harbour. Its address is Avenida de las Andanas N/N. You should take your camera because you can take beautiful pictures there and you can visit other attractions near Monumeto a los Corsarios such as the Paseo Vara de Rey and the Galera Van der Voort, which is a famous gallery in Ibiza that is located in the Plaza Vila.
