Monument to General Vara de Rey, Ibiza

The monument to General Vara de Rey is said to be one of the most popular monuments in Ibiza. It is usually visited. This attraction is located in the main street in this tourist destination in Spain that is Paseo Vara de Rey since it was named after the famous general.

King Alfonso XIII inaugurated this monument in Ibiza in 1902. This monument is close to interesting tourist attractions in Ibiza such as: Estatua del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús, Van der Voort Galery and Archaeological Museum of Ibiza. There is another statue of Vara de Rey but in Madrid.
You will find excellent hotels in Ibiza that are relatively close to this monument such as the royal Plaza hotel. There are also language schools in this destination where you can take intensive Spanish Certified courses.

Talamanca beach, Ibiza

Talamanca beach is located on the North side of Ibiza Town and you can reach it easily by car, bus or ferry.

This beautiful beach in Ibiza is ideal to practice different water sports or enjoy other activities such as a tour in the banana boat. Talamanca beach has blue waters that may be the reason because it is usually busy at weekends and many families choose it.
Talamanca beach also offers wonderful hotels. There numerous hotels in Ibiza very close to Talamanca beach such as The Argos Hotel, The Hostal Talamanca and Playa Real. Remember that you can rent a car in Ibiza.
